Winter Wonder-fun

If I thought the rest of the year was busy, it was nothing compared to the winter holidays!

Winter Festival
Our family went down to the lake to enjoy the Winter Festival. Well, mostly I just observed, but I had a good time nonetheless!

Ho ... ho ... ho

The Christmas Tree
Claire and I helped Mommy put up the Christmas tree. I got to hold my birthday ornament. Mommy's torn what should be considered "Baby's First Christmas" -- is it the day I was born or will it be when I turn 1? Hmmm ... until then, she's just avoiding it altogether. :D

Why would you put the yummy candycane on the tree and not in your mouth?!

It's beautiful! Here's a sucker to hang.

Primrose Holiday Program
Our whole family went to support Claire's very first recital -- a holiday program at school. There was singing, dancing, and toys in the classrooms between performances. You really need to check out Claire's blog to see the performances!

More show!

Gingerbread House
We got to eat (I mean "decorate") our very own gingerbread house. It turned out great!

Just a little bit of icing on the camera

Is this where the candy goes?

Mmmmm ...

Voila!

Santa
Mommy took us to go to Santa. We got there during his cookie break, so we hung out in line together for awhile. Then, when we got into the globe area, we discovered something fun -- indoor snow! Claire had a great time running through it, and I discovered it's much like sand ... you try it once, and that's pretty much enough. I did a great job on Santa's lap, too, so no screaming baby picture for us (this year, anyways)!

Waiting in line

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Hey, big guy.

Please check out all our other December pictures online!
