Mommy knows I'm also definitely growing because I surprised her one day when she turned around for just one moment and then found me ... well, up where I was previously unable to climb ...
Now what?
Had my 18-month well baby visit and I'm still trending small, though I'm definitely happy and healthy in all other ways.
Just in time for Da-Jiu to move to Dallas for residency, I also decided that any adult male that's not Daddy must be a "Da-Jiu". Gong-Gong? Da-Jiu. Xiao-Jiu? Nope, Da-Jiu. Man at the coffee shop, Claire's karate teacher, or random person at the grocery store? Da-Jiu, Da-Jiu, Da-Jiu. Welcome to Dallas, Da-Jiu! We're so glad you're here!
I'm definitely turning out to be quite the "boy". I like to run and tumble and wrestle whenever I can. Poor Claire can be sitting nicely, and I'll find a way to pounce!
Gotcha!
Enjoying a snow-cone at the Spring Fling at school. Little did we know at the time that the cold ice was especially nice because I was about to get Hand-Foot-Mouth. Yuck!
Future doctors?
Ready for makeup school pics.
We made a platter for Daddy for Father's Day. My friend Grace met us there, and we got messy together.
Eeeeewwww
Sibling love
Claire started baseball this month, so I've been tagging along to watch.
Da-Jiu has moved to Dallas which is pretty exciting.
He's so much fun to be with, and I hope we get to see him a lot.
Heading down to Mallory's house to celebrate her birthday
Claire's playgroup had a playdate at The Fields, so I got another opportunity to play in the sun at the awesome park.
Ready to splash!
Wet!
Run for it!
I've been hit!
Of course, we did so much more in May, and there are lots more pictures in our May album if you'd like to check them out.
Our family made a quick road trip down to Austin so that we could support Xiao-Jiu's graduation from UT @ Austin. We had a good time visiting campus and runnng around the Frank Erwin center, and then were treated to a wonderful meal at Maggiano's before enjoying some yummy ice cream cake. What a fun day!
Excited to see Xiao-Jiu
Cheese!
Just a little more dip
The next morning, we headed to cousin James and cousin Tessa's house to play and eat lunch before heading back to Dallas. Short trip, but we had a great time!
We decided to go to the park for Mother's Day. It was a sunny (but windy) day to enjoy The Fields at Carrollton Parkway which has since become one our favorites. Lily's family met us there, and we had a grand time!
Love the splash park
Helloooo, you
I think I'd like to climb this next
We're ... five? .. months apart in age?!
Happy Mother's Day!
You can't tell here, but we took a LOT of pictures that day. Hey, it was Mother's Day, and what Mommy wanted, Mommy got! You can see the whole Mother's Day album online.
