Easter at Rough Creek

We went on a road trip for Easter weekend. Daddy planned a great weekend for us in Glen Rose, TX, which is just down the street from us (sort of). The first surprise was an animal safari park where we got to sit in the front seat of the car (woo-hoo!) and feed animals (whee!).

We found plenty to do at the hotel once we got settled in including checking out the room and playing peek-a-boo with the curtains. Later that evening, my own personal babysitter came to fetch me and Claire to go play with Mommy and Daddy enjoyed some yummy food at the restaurant.

The next day we checked out the rest of the resort before digging for bones at Dinosaur World.

Back to the Kiddie Korral tonight, huh?

The next morning, it was Easter, and we were excited to discover that the Easter Bunny had stopped by to drop of some treats! I participated in an Easter egg hunt (one egg for each hand) and got to pet lots of furry baby animals before we had a yummy brunch and headed home.
