Halloween Night

After a month of multiple pumpkin patches, fall festivals, Halloween parties, and costumed playdates, it was finally, finally, finally Halloween night. Mommy and Daddy agreed to limit the number of houses we visited which gave us the opportunity to welcome trick or treaters at our house before and after our run. I did NOT want to dress up in my duck costume but found one that worked well enough to get candy!

Trick or treat!

Happy to receive a visit from Da-Jiu

It was a pretty good system. I would get pulled to a house in my wagon, jump out, get my piece of candy, and eat it while riding in the wagon until I was ready for another.

Fun to see neighbors all dresed up. Happy Halloween, Mallory!

Primrose Fall Festival

Another year, another Primrose Fall Festival. This is the first one I got to attend since I was sick last year, and Claire was especially excited because it was the first event (of many) that she got to wear her Snow White costume that she's been staring at for MONTHS! As for me, I've been trying on my costume multiple times since it first showed up in the mail but decided that I did NOT want to wear it that night. Oh, well, I still had fun even without it!

Me & Mega Me

Claire might choose to call this one "Me and Mini Me", but it's all about perspective! Mommy figures there's only so many years that she can try and coordinate our wardrobe, so she tries to fit in as many opportunities as possible.

This One's a Keeper

The title of this post applied to two different pictures this month. The first one's a picture of me and my BFF Ava at school. She's the one that I've been friends with since the infant class and the one they use to bait me away from Mommy, because, yes, I still cry every day when I'm dropped off. That's just how I roll.

The second picture, well, that one's a picture that I'm sure will haunt me for years to come.

Enjoy these and all the other October pictures!

Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

We kicked off the Fall round of festivities with an outing to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. Claire's playgroup met out there, plus I invited Grace, so we knew plenty of people amongst all the pumpkins. Between the hayride, the pony rides, barrel rides, snowcones, and hunting for the perfect pumpkin with wagons just our size, it was quite the afternoon!

Not sure how this hayride is going to work

Help! I'm stuck on this gigantic hay mountain!

Trying my hand at some games

Happy with her face paintings

Snowcones are GOOD

Kisses for everyone

You get the pumpkins, I'll get the snowcone
